A MAN was baptised and confirmed at a church in Brentwood - at the age of 99!
Norman Machin had the service normally done to young babies and toddlers at St Thomas of Canterbury, in St Thomas Road, on Sunday.
Mr Machin decided to go through with the baptism as he believes it was done when he was child due to the outbreak of the First World War.
The entire congregation at the church were made Mr Machin's godparents.
