Charge over assault outside Brentwood club
A MAN has been charged with grievous bodily harm following an assault outside a popular Brentwood nightclub in October.
Neil Richards, 27, of Severn Drive, Upminster, will appear at Basildon Magistrates' Court on February 20 to answer the charge.
It is alleged Richards assaulted a male clubber in William Hunter Way during the early hours of Sunday October 13 after being in Eclipse.
The 21-year-old victim from Brentwood was hospitalised with life threatening injuries but is now having rehabilitation treatment.
