PUPILS were taught about the importance of recycling by completing a series of tasks at their school.
Members of Brentwood Council's streetscene team visited Trinity School, in Crown Road, Kelvedon Hatch, to talk to students about preserving the environment.
They were then set challenges including creating posters, collecting rubbish around the school and building insect houses with a prize for the team who picked up the most points during the day.
The winning team were Samuels, Caleb Gardiner, Tim Adetukasi , Stephanie Cross, Rebekah Gardiner, Bobby Hancock and Ema Stankevice and each received a voucher from Brentwood mayor Madeline Henwood.
