DOORS will be open to the public on Sunday May 4 for a special event at a horse sanctuary in Ingatestone.
Volunteers at the Remus Memorial Horse Sanctuary, based in Little Farm on Buttsbury Road, will welcome people in for an open day between 1pm and 5pm.
It will give visitors the chance to meet all of the 200 animals at the venue including horses, donkeys, sheep and cows.
Entry for adults is £4 and free for children.
Dogs are also welcome if they are kept on a lead.
