A WOMAN in her 60s miraculously escaped serious injury when her car flipped onto its roof earlier this morning in Brentwood.
The silver Toyota Yaris is believed to have hit a traffic island on London road, close to the junction with Westwood Avenue, at about 9.30am.
The driver suffered minor chest injuries and didn’t require hospital treatment. She was treated at the scene by paramedics.
The car is now back on four wheels and police are at the scene.
