BUSINESSES are being invited to book their free ticket to come together with hundreds of likeminded professionals.

The new Brentwood Business Showcase will take place on Wednesday, November 2, from 9am to 4pm at Brentwood School, Middleton Hall Lane, Brentwood, CM15 8EE and will provide a platform for businesses in the borough.

The showcase is your opportunity to promote your business, visit exhibitors, network with others and meet new customers and suppliers. You can also discover ideas, receive advice and find new products and services.

Organised by Brentwood Council, and sponsored by Wortley Byers Law, the showcase will feature companies that will talk about what they can offer. Key business sectors at the event will include financial service, creative, manufacturing, construction and property, ICT, retail and leisure and tourism.

You can listen to inspiring keynote and entrepreneurial speakers throughout the day from Crossrail's surface director Matthew White, who will talk about Crossrail coming to the area and how this will transform Brentwood's business environment, to Nick Kay of St Modwen Developments Ltd, who will talk about the Strategic Development Plan for Brentwood Enterprise Park and why it is the new place to do business.

Other speakers include James Sinclair, CEO of The Partyman Group, who recently co-founded the Entrepreneurs Network to help business owners grow, learn and reach new levels of success.

He will be talking about his Essential Rules of Success as an entrepreneur. The free informative business workshops include two legal advice sessions from our sponsors Wortley Byers Law on how to assess how healthy your business is to social media conflicts in the workplace.

Other workshops will give invaluable advice looking at security and ways to protect your business from cyber threats to learning from successful entrepreneurs. During the day you will can also visit interesting exhibitors with innovative products or working practices.

Brentwood Chamber of Commerce will host a complimentary drinks reception from 4pm after the event closes where you can make valuable connections with other exhibitors and visitors to finish off the day.
