SIXTH Form students from Brentwood County High School have been working with a foodbank appeal.

Adam Ashley, Maisie Ingram, Ronnie Collins, Ben Fillingham and Billy Holland worked with Louise Cole to coordinate the school’s Food Bank Appeal.

The Brentwood Food Bank is overseen by the Trussell Trust who work in partnership with local churches and organization to distribute food parcels to families in need. Every form group supported this project and contributed items from the “shopping list”.

As part of the schools community awareness initiative the school always encourages students to think of less fortunate members of the local community.

This is especially vital at Christmas time when people living in hardship may struggle to meet the extra demands of the festive season.

Once again the school is proud to support such a worthwhile initiative.

Stephen Drew, Headteacher said: “Being able to provide support for those less fortunate at Christmas time is something we all seek to do. “We hope that our donations can bring cheer to members of our local community at Christmas.”
