Three employees of a creative agency are having their heads shaved in support of a colleague with blood cancer.
Richard Orchard, who is head of digital at Burrows in Shenfield, was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin Lymphoma last summer and has been receiving chemotherapy at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals Trust.
He was the @NHS first Twitter Curator in October 2016, sharing his experiences in his fight against cancer, which gained local and national press coverage.
His colleagues Christian Cornwell, Ricky Clegg and Richard Wright will be going under the razor in a public head-shaving event on Friday, January 13 at 1pm to raise money in aid of lymphoma research.
Staff at Burrows have been campaigning to raise money for Mr Orchard's elected charity - The Lymphoma Association - since October and have raised £1,300 so far. Donations can still be made via their just giving page - https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/burrowsshave
