FIRE crews were called to reports of a fire in a six storey office building in Warley.
The crews reported that the whole building in Eagle Way had already been evacuated.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the building and located the fire in the basement of the building which was full of smoke.
Fire crews managed to extinguish the fire by 1:30pm yesterday.
Firefighters then used a thermal imaging camera, a device which detects heat to make sure the fire and hot spots were fully out.
Crews ventilated the building and left the scene at 2pm.
The cause of the fire has been found to be due to an overheated fan system.
The building suffered very minimal fire damage, but has suffered slight smoke damage.
