POLICE have issued images of two men they want to speak to following an incident in which two men left two men with serious injuries.

A 21-year-old man from Cambridge was punched at The Slug and Lettuce pub in High Street, Brentwood, at about 12.30am on Sunday, March 5.

He suffered a broken jaw and fractures to his face. He has since been discharged but has been left with permanent scarring.

His friend, a 28-year-old man from Stanford-le-Hope, was bitten on his left ear and suffered bruising to his ribs. He was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Enquiries are ongoing and police are now in a position to release CCTV images of two men they want to speak to in connection with the investigation.

We appreciate they are not the best quality images but hope someone can identify them.
