BEREVEMENT support group organisers from Bennetts Funerals are set to joining.

The business which has offices in Billericay and Brentwood will be at South Essex Crematorium’s 60th Anniversary Open Day, South Ockendon Road, Upminster tomorrow.

Bridget Holley and Leigh Tanner from the business will be on hand from 9am to 5pm, to meet and talk to people who have experienced the loss of somebody dear to them.

Bridget Holley said: “Grief is a natural reaction to the death of a loved one and it can be devastating. Talking with other people who have had a similar loss can help,”

For more than a decade Bennetts has been supporting bereaved families in the Brentwood and Billericay area, setting up their first bereavement group in January 2007. The group, now called New Era, meets on the second Wednesday of the month at St George’s Church Hall, Brentwood, in the afternoon.

The newest of Bennetts’ bereavement support groups, Tiny Stars, held its inaugural meeting last month. Run by Leigh Tanner, this support group, for anyone affected by miscarriage and stillbirth, meets on the second Friday morning of the month in Brentwood.
