A man was airlifted to hospital with a serious leg injury following an industrial accident in Essex yesterday afternoon.
The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) received a call just after 1.30pm June, 27, to Tilbury Road in West Horndon to a report of a man who had fallen and suffered traumatic injuries.
A rapid response vehicle, ambulance crew and air ambulance from Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were dispatched.
They treated a man in his 20s who had suffered a broken leg.
He was airlifted to Royal London Hospital for further care.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
