Essex police have successfully convicted 8 more people who were arrested during this summer’s anti-drink and drug driving campaign.

107 people were arrested during the campaign which ran between June 1 and June 30. 

Anyone who is convicted of a drink or drug driving offence having been arrested during that period will have their name and picture published to the public. 

Adam Pipe, Casualty Reduction Manager, said: “Essex Police doesn’t tolerate drink or drug driving and we take a tough stance on it. 

“Our work to tackle the issue does not stop now the summer campaign has finished.

“I would urge anyone who has any information about someone who is drink or drug driving to contact us on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.” 

Those convicted are: 

Keiran Pearman, 36, of West Park Close, Romford. 
- Arrested on A13, Benfleet at 1.42am on June 6; 
- Disqualified for 17 months for drink driving. 

Samantha Parnett, 33, of Beckers Green Road, Braintree. 
- Arrested in Beckers Green Road, Braintree at 9.47pm on June 7; 
- Disqualified for 18 months, fined £240, and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge for drink driving. 

Adrian Mayhew, 51, of Lamburnham Drive, Battisford, Stowmarket. 
- Arrested in Colchester Road, Wivenhoe at 1.45am on June 9; 
- Disqualified for 18 months, fined £703, and ordered to pay £85 costs and £70 victim surcharge for drink driving. 

Tadas Lubys, 25, of First Avenue Dagenham. 
- Arrested in London Road, Southend at 7.20pm on June 10; 
- Disqualified for 20 months, fined £350, and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £35 victim surcharge for drink driving; 
- Fined £350 for driving without insurance. 

Stuart Pritchard, 74, of St. Augustine Mews, Colchester. 
- Arrested at Colchester Rugby Club at 4.50pm on June 24; 
- Disqualified for 20 months, fined £350, and ordered to pay £85 costs and £35 victim surcharge for drink driving. 

Aaron Virgin, 24, of Byron Road, Chelmsford. 
- Arrested inn Gun Hill, Dedham at 1.35am on June 25; 
- Disqualified for 36 months, 16 week suspended sentence, and ordered to take a rehabilitation programme for drink driving; 
- 16 week suspended sentence (to run concurrently), ordered to take a rehabilitation programme, and ordered to pay £300 compensation, £115 victim surcharge, and £85 costs for aggravated vehicle taking; 
- Licence endorsed for driving without insurance; 
- Licence endorsed for driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence. 

Chanel Gallo, 21, of Pound Farm Drive, Harwich. 
- Arrested in High Street, Colchester at 3.51am on June 25; 
- Disqualified for 18 months, fined £350, and ordered to pay £85 costs and £35 victim surcharge for drink driving.

David Livings, 42, of Silverdale Avenue, Westcliff. 
- Arrested in Silverdown Avenue, Southend at 3.20am on June 25; 
- Disqualified for 17 months, fined £120, and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge for drink driving; 
- Fined £80 for possession of Class B drug.
