Officers were called to Kings Road, Brentwood at 12.45am on Bank Holiday Monday August 28 following reports that a man had been assaulted outside Murphys Sports Bar.

Sadly, on Saturday September 2, the 47-year-old man died as a result of his injuries.

“We would also like to hear from any other witnesses to the incident who have yet to come forward to us, particularly anyone who may have captured mobile phone of dash-cam footage.”
