M25 commuters are facing severe delays this morning after a crash and an oil spillage on an entry ramp.

The crash was first reported at 4.36am but traffic is still heavy, with queues of more than 10 miles right back to the Dartford Crossing.

It happened on the M25 Anticlockwise at junction 28 with the Brook Street Roundabout.

Three lorries are understood to have been involved resulting in two lanes being blocked.

At around 8:26am, the the blockage was reduced to one lane.

Emergency services have also closed the end of the entry slip road while they deal with the incident.

It is unknown at this time if people are injured.

There are also severe delays on the A12 and A13 this morning.

UPDATE: Incident cleared at around 10:44am.
