Crowds turned up to help Brentwood commemorate all those who sacrificed their lives for their country on Remembrance Sunday.
The Remembrance Day Parade and Service took place on Sunday 12 November at the War Memorial
The parade assembled in the Library Square, Brentwood School, from 10am and made their way to the War Memorial accompanied by the Brentwood Imperial Youth Band.
A service conducted by Canon Phillip Need, acting vicar at St Thomas’ Church, and the Bishop of Brentwood Rev Alan Williams, from Brentwood Cathedral, went ahead followed by the wreath laying.
There was a two minute silenbce at 11am before the parade left the towards the High Street via Shenfield Road.
