Two men have been convicted of carrying out more than 35 burglaries in a month across Essex.
Michael O’Reilly and Jordan Hodges were arrested in Hedley Chase, Warley, on April 21, 2015 after police officers stopped their vehicle.
They were arrested and later charged in connection with 37 burglaries across the county including in Chelmsford, Colchester, Braintree, and Billericay.
The break-ins all took place between March 9 and April 20, 2015.
In a number of cases, their white Vauxhall Astra van was seen on CCTV.
They were charged with conspiracy to commit burglary.
Hodges admitted the offences 2017, but O’Reilly denied them.
Following a five day trial at Chelmsford Crown Court, O’Reilly was found guilty.
O’Reilly, 47, of Roman Road, Mountnessing, and Hodges, 23, of Western Way, Thamesmead, are due to be sentenced at the same court at a later date.
