A TEEN was stabbed during an overnight attack.
The 17-year-old boy was attacked in Southend last night.
Police were called shortly before 10.30pm with reports that a teenager had been stabbed in Windermere Road.
Officers and paramedics arrived and the victim was taken to hospital and treated.
He is currently in stable condition.
Detectives are treating this as an isolated incident and do not believe there is a further risk to the wider public.
Witnesses or anyone who was in the area at the time and saw any suspicious behaviour is asked to contact Southend CID on 101, quoting reference 42/137388/18.
