Lynmouth Avenue, where the assault took place
POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a woman was assaulted in Chelmsford.
The incident happened on Lynmouth Avenue at around 5.30pm on Monday, October 10, when a man assaulted a woman in the street. It is believed the man then fled in the direction of Lady Lane.
The woman was not seriously injured. The area may have been busy at the time and officers would like to hear from any witnesses.
