UNIVERSITY students have won a top prize for a construction project.

Sam Warren, Joe Evers and Jay Ali students at Anglia Ruskin University, Chelmsford have won the prize for the best overall group poster and presentation for the undergraduate Project Management module.

The group won for their project on the proposed Waitrose development on Victoria Road in Chelmsford City Centre.

Sam, Joe and Jay won as they worked excellently as a team, engaged throughout the module, and gave the best presentation on their project which led them to achieve the highest mark in the module.

The award, sponsored by Hays Construction and Property, recognises and rewards excellence in the field of Project Management.

Hays Construction and Property recently attended a prize giving ceremony at the university to present each of the deserving students with £50 in vouchers and a framed certificate.
