CHELMSFORD performing arts groups are reaching for the stars after winning places in the finals of a regional drama competition.
Boswells School Glee Club and Danbury’s Tomorrow’s Talent shone through against 60 other groups to scoop their place in the Jack Petchey Glee Club Challenge.
The grand final, taking place on Sunday March 19 , will be held at London’s Indigo, inside The O2 Arena.
Gavin Wilkinson, creative director for Tomorrow’s Talent, said: “We love performing and it just felt the right time to enter this year’s Glee.
“Two of our boys have never performed on a big stage before and they are buzzing. We are a big family group and working hard for the final. We want to win.”
All finalists will perform on the West End stage and are in with a chance to win a share of £5,000 in prizes.
