A CHELMSFORD hospice launched an entrepreneurial challenge.

Farleigh Hospice held an event to start the 2017 £50 Challenge, sponsored by Birkett Long Solicitors.

The challenge sees 69 enterprising individuals and groups presented with a £50 note by Linda Denston, deputy mayor of Chelmsford, and they then have 12 weeks to turn that amount into as much money as possible for Farleigh Hospice.

For the challengers to succeed, they will need to use every last shred of their imagination, with the best ideas often being creative, fun, and sometimes even a little bit odd!

This is the fifth year that the event has taken place, with the campaign raising over £120,000 to date, and the hospice is hoping for another record year.
