HOBBYCRAFT Chelmsford is asking customers to turn up the volume for Children’s Hospice Week from May 22 until May 28 May, with a musical-themed day of fundraising.

On Saturday May 27, colleagues at the Chelmsford store will be donning pop star fancy dress and hosting a musical makes station, where crafters can have a go at making their own musical instrument.

All funds raised will go to local children’s hospice Little Havens Children's Hospice, as part of its charity partnership with Together for Short Lives.

Together for Short Lives is the leading UK charity for all children and young people expected to have short lives. Children's Hospice Week is the UK's only awareness and fundraising week for children with life-shortening conditions, and their families, and the children’s hospices that support them.

Hobbycraft Chelmsford store manager, Dejan Byrne, said: “We want to amp up our fundraising for Children’s Hospice Week this year, by tuning into our inner pop stars!

"Join us in store for music themed dress up and crafts, raising invaluable awareness and loads of money so that Little Havens Children's Hospice can continue their life changing work.”
