THE Comedy Club is back at The lion Inn, Chelmsford on Thursday July.

The touring show organisation will be holding a show at the pub in Main Road, Boreham with a range of famous comedians.

Mark Dolan, from the Channel 4 show Balls of Steel will be the host comedian for the event.

Most recently he fronted a brand new series lampooning the world of ads, in Channel 4’s Mad Bad Ad Show. This followed three series of the hugely popular Channel 4 documentary series, The World’s…and Me, which featured the world’s smallest, tallest and hairiest people, as well as the most surgically enhanced woman!

The Headline Comedian will be David Jordan, after a successful stint as a solo singer songwriter, David brings his unique musical talent to the world of stand up, combining his brilliant voice with carefully crafted, hilarious and edgy songs.

Bursting on to the comedy scene with his explosive mix of musical comedy, David has already contributed jokes to Radio Four's hit show, 'The News Quiz', music for Comedy Central’s 'Seann Walsh World', as well as writing his own comedy scripts for TV and Radio.

Tickets are £14 each and doors open at 7.30pm and show time is 9pm.
