HOSPITAL workers from mid Essex hospitals are preparing to take on a charity race for the hospital trust.
The Cancer Multidisciplinary Team from the Mid Essex Hospital Services NHS Trusty will be taking part in a 5km inflatable obstacle race.
Members of the Cancer Multidisciplinary Team will take on the event Chelmsford City Racecourse on July 1.
Money raised will go to the Cancer Care Unit, which provides a range of services, including reflexology, to make patients’ time on the unit a little more bearable.
Staff taking part include Tracey Green, Ra - chel Flanders, Holly Daly, Sammy Burtenshaw, Sarah Frisby, Samuel Dodds, Amy Langridge and Georgina Ball.
