CHELMSFORD’S Lloyds Banking Group spent a day volunteering at Shenfield High School delivering a ‘Practice Interview Day’ for Year 10 students.
As part of Shenfield High School’s Careers and Work Related Learning course, 115 pupils answered typical interview questions with each student receiving information and guidance on how they can improve.
Simon Lock, Relationship Director of the Education team at Lloyds in Essex, said: “It has been very rewarding for all of us today to have the opportunity to share our skills and career expertise to inspire these students at Shenfield High School to start thinking about their futures.”
The bank has committed to providing 2.3 million colleague volunteering hours by 2020 to support community projects.
Lloyds hope to help build the confidence of young students as they start looking for work.
