“Bradley Blundell if you are listening please do the right thing and come forward, it’s only a matter of time before police catch you.

“If anyone knows him, his friends or family please contact police. I need to know what happened to my handsome, talented boy.”

Ms Wilson gave a teary tribute to her son and sat shaking during the press conference, while being comforted by Mr Podage's grandmother Linda Walker and Chief Supt Ewen Wilson.

Chief Supt Wilson also appealed for information to trace Blundell and described him as a "dangerous man" who posed a risk to the public.
