A REWARD of £5,000 has been offered for information about a teenager wanted after a man died in an incident at a petrol station.

Independent charity Crimestoppers is today offering a reward of up to £5,000 for information on the whereabouts of 17-year-old Bradley Blundell who is urgently wanted in connection with killing.

The reward has been offered as a fundraising effort has been launched for the family of the victim.

Bradley Blundell is a suspect in the killing of John Pordage, who was shot outside a BP garage, in Baddow Road in Chelmsford on Saturday 5 August, just after 2am.

Thirty-four-year-old Mr Pordage, of Galleywood, was taken to hospital, where he died from a gunshot wound.

Liam Duffy, Regional Manager for the charity Crimestoppers, said: “Our charity’s put up this reward for information on Bradley Blundell’s whereabouts because it’s believed he is a danger to the public and must be found.

“Bradley has known links to Chelmsford, Great Baddow and Thurrock, as well as Norwich and Norfolk. Someone will either know where he is or maybe giving him shelter. The public’s safety is important to us, which is why we guarantee that anyone who contacts our charity with information stays 100% anonymous. Bradley should not be approached directly by members of the public.”

If you have any information, please contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or through our Anonymous Online Form at crimestoppers-uk.org.

Friend of the gentle giant - Jennifer Weeks who set up the JustGiving page with a group of John’s friends said: “This is a very rare occurrence in this area and truly devastating for much of the community as he was an extremely popular and well known individual.
