A CHARITY bike ride is coming to the city for the first time.

There are three courses on the day, the cool- 40 miles, classic- 60 miles and champion- 101 miles.

Entry fees are £25 per person for the cool race and £38 for the classic and champion races.

The charity works to save and change children’s lives through medical research It believes that the diseases that devastate the lives of so many children can be beaten.

The work of the charity has been funding medical breakthroughs since it began in 1952 like the first polio vaccines in the UK, ultrasound in pregnancy and the rubella vaccine – helping to save thousands of children’s lives and change many more.

Surprisingly medical research to help children is poorly funded in the UK.

Action Medical Research has a critical job to do in helping fill this gap to protect children.
