Police are appealing for witnesses to an attempted robbery in which a man was threatened with a knife.
A man approached the 18-year-old victim at the rear of the Co-Op bank in Market Road, Chelmsford, at 11.15am on Monday, September 25.
He demanded a gold chain he was wearing and threatened him. The victim left the scene to get help and the suspect left empty-handed.
Witnesses or anyone with information are asked to contact PC Claire Wreford at Chelmsford CID on 101.
