Chelmsford’s Hylands Estate has been Shortlisted for two wedding awards The popular wedding venue has been shortlisted for the prestigious Essex Wedding Awards for Best Historical Wedding Venue and Venue of the Year at the countywide awards.

Hylands House is well-known for its banqueting room with extravagant 19th century neo baroque style decorations, plus marble fireplace and floor to ceiling windows.

The venue also offers a contemporary Grand Pavilion, which accommodates up to 300 guests.

The winners of the awards will be announced at a gala award ceremony on the November 23 at Orsett Hall Hotel, Orsett.

Hylands Estate won Best Historical Wedding Venue at the Essex Wedding Awards in 2014.
