A Chelmsford pub is set to undergo a six-figure refurbishment, creating eight new jobs in the process.
The Flyer on Dickens Place closed on Monday and will reopen on November 19.
The pub will centre around an improved bar area and updated drinks menu when it reopens.
The sports viewing area will be fitted with high-quality sound systems and multiple screens throughout the pub to ensure guests feel like they’re at the heart of the action.
Mark Robinson, general manager at The Flyer, said: “The Flyer is at the heart of the local community, so we want to provide our guests with even better surroundings to enjoy great food, drink and sporting events.
“We’re really excited to get the refurbishment under way.”
