A Chelmsford City Council employee has scooped a top HR award.

Council HR business support and systems team manager Andrew Cartwright picked up the award for Most Innovative HR Professional for his commitment and dedication to the success of the on-going digital HR transformation programme.

The 2017 MHR Impact Awards took place on October 30 and this year’s awards attracted over 300 people from across the UK.

The awards recognise leading businesses and HR professionals who have achieved outstanding results.

Andrew demonstrated how, through strong leadership and team work, excellent communication and clever use of data analytics, organisations can drive performance.

Cabinet member for corporate services, Councillor Nicolette Chambers, said “I am delighted that Andrew’s good work has been recognised with this well-deserved award.”
