Three men have been arrested as part of an operation to tackle drug and associated crime and anti-social behaviour.

Officers executed warrants at two addresses in Rembrandt Grove and Cornwall Crescent in Chelmsford today.

A 27-year-old man from Chelmsford was arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs with intent to supply.

A 22-year-old man from Chelmsford was arrested on suspicion of possession of articles for use in fraud and making or supplying an article for use in fraud.

A third man, also aged 22 and from Chelmsford, was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in supplying drugs.

All three are currently in custody for questioning.

The arrests were part of an operation that began on Wednesday in response to concerns raised by the community.

Officers from Chelmsford police station including the CID and the Community Police Team, with support from the Operational Support Group and Operation Raptor were involve din the special operation.
