An 11-year-old cyclist has been flown to hospital with life threatening injuries after being in collision with a car.

A man has been arrested following the collision in Chelmsford yesterday, Friday, March 16.

A Silver Peugeot 208 collided with a cyclist on Roxwell Road, around 5.15pm.

An 11-year-old boy was taken to hospital by air ambulance with life-threatening injuries.

A 25-year-old man from Chelmsford has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
