Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery at a shop in Chelmsford.
Two men armed with what’s been described as a hatchet went into the Gibson’s store in Rainsford Road at around 9.30pm on Sunday (March 25).
They demanded staff open the till and made off with a quantity of cash.
The men have been described as having their faces covered with ski masks and were both dressed all in black.
Fortunately no-one was injured. Officers searched the area but did not find the men.
