TWELVE lucky primary school children were treated to an exclusive gift as they took part in the launch of a new competition and campaign.

The pupils from St Joseph’s Primary School, in South Woodham Ferrers, received the gift – American, teen-sensation JoJo Siwa’s new perfume Be You.

The campaign aims to encourage girls to be themselves and be confident in a world full or online criticism.

At an event celebrating the launch of an exciting competition, the floor outside St Joseph’s was stencilled with the starlet’s logo and the children were gifted the perfume and an iconic JoJo Bow.

JoJo is an American dancer, singer and actor as well as a YouTube personality.

The children, selected at random, were given JoJo’s perfume to mark the beginning of a summer-long competition that is open to all children across Essex.

If you purchase a JoJo Siwa ‘Be You’ perfume from The Perfume Shop and send proof of purchase to the Instagram account @jojosiwabeauty, you will automatically be entered into a prize draw.

The lucky winner will win a ‘Zookeeper Experience Day’ at Colchester Zoo, as they feed the animals and learn what it means to care for these often-endangered species.

This prize reflects the invaluable message that this perfume carries, as the sweet scent brings to the UK a powerful and inspiring self-confidence campaign.

The campaign behind this perfume encourages girls of all ages to ‘Be You!’; we are all fabulously unique and this should be celebrated.

This campaign, whilst emphasising the importance of self-love, also inspires girls to recognise their strengths.

The opportunity to participate in a ‘Zookeeper Experience Day’ encourages girls to consider less conventional careers and hobbies; challenging stereotypes and hopefully sparking a love for something new.

The JoJo Siwa ‘Be You’ perfume is now available online at The Perfume Shop and in 180 stores nationwide.
