A YOUNG mortgage broker from Brentwood will tackle a 6km long obstacle course next month for charity.
Hayley Rossiter is taking on the Gauntlet in Finchingfield on Sunday April 6 to raise money for St Francis Hospice.
During the challenge, the 19-year-old will have to run through and over muddy water, trenches and obstacles.
Ahead of the event, she said getting a bit dirty is not such a bad thing as she wants to say thanks to the hospice who cared for her grandma Marion Tracey, who died of bowel cancer.
Miss Rossiter said: "I’m very passionate about fundraising for the charity and hope to raise as much as I can by taking part in the Gauntlet."
