VOLUNTEERS are wanted in Brentwood to help the community and the environment.
The Brentwood Countryside Management Volunteers are looking for extra people to spare a few hours on a Wednesday, whatever the weather, to come together and help with tasks such as path clearing and litter picking in countryside sites.
All tools and equipment are provided, as are teas and coffee. Volunteers are asked to come in suitable clothes and safety footwear.
No experience is needed and projects take place every Wednesday from 10am to approximately 3pm. The group usually meets at King George’s Park at 9.45am.
Those who wish to get involved can contact Tracey Lynch on 01277 312701.
