INTRERNATIONAL soprano singer, Alexandra Kidgell, is coming to Brentwood.

She will be performing at the Hutton and Shenfield Choral Society’s Baroque Splendour concert at Brentwood Cathedral, Ingrave Road, Brentwood on Saturday November 19 at 7.30pm.

Alex, who is originally from Southend, sings with the critically world acclaimed musical ensemble, The Sixteen, which wowed audiences in Chelmsford earlier this year.

The concert, with the Aurelian Chamber Orchestra, includes Vivaldi’s ever popular Gloria, and Handel’s Coronation Anthems, plus Bach’s Cantata BWV 51 “Jauchzet Gott” and Zelenka’s moving Miserere in C minor.

Joining Alexandra will be mezzo soprano Carris Jones.
