A 21-year-old from Brentwood was filmed partying with her grandmother for a new MTV show.

Care support worker Victoria Cobbold, 21, went on holiday to Cancun with 71-year-old gran Joyce in tow for the reality show Spring Break With Grandad.

The former Brentwood County High School student was approached by MTV on Facebook and persuaded Joyce to join her in Mexico where she and other youngsters are filmed living a wild party lifestyle while their grandparents look on in horror.

Victoria said: “My nan didn’t know what to expect and although she told me off a few times for drinking too much, she let her hair down too. I was surprised by how much she enjoyed herself."

The show is hosted by Geordie Shore star Gaz Beadle, who also lived in the villa along with his grandad Raymond.

The premise is that if the young people don’t ‘party hard’ they get kicked out of the villa. Victoria revealed: “I partied really hard and there was one time when Joyce grounded me for drinking too much. The funny thing is, some of the grandparents were as outrageous as we were!"

Victoria and Joyce, who lives in Chipping Ongar, were also approached by Big Brother to star in their new series this summer, but Joyce couldn’t stomach the lack of privacy.

Victoria said: “I would love to do another show. Spring Break With Grandad was great fun. I had a romance with one of the contestants, but it didn’t lead to anything – we had quite a few arguments. I’m single now and just want to have fun.”

Spring Break With Grandad starts on Monday, February 6, at 10pm on MTV. You can follow Victoria on Twitter @VictoriaCobbold and for show news, follow @MTVSpringBreak
