Residents will have the chance to learn more about recycling in the borough at a recycling roadshow.

Tomorrow’s event, which takes place next to the Chapel Ruins in Brentwood High Street from 11am to 1pm, will give people the chance to find out more about the garden waste bins service, as well as stock up on recycling sacks and food waste bags.

Brentwood Borough Council’s Chair of the Environment and Housing Management Committee, Councillor Chris Hossack, said: “This is the perfect opportunity to get more orange recycling sacks or food waste bags if you are starting to run low, and don’t forget you can collect sacks from local shops, libraries and the Town Hall.

“Also, you may be starting to get ready for a spring clean in your garden, so you may want to look at getting a brown garden waste bin. Just ask our team about this, who will also be on hand to answer any questions about recycling.”
