A SINGING group took to a supermarket to raise cash for charity.
About 70 singers from Chelmsford’s Funky Voices Choir turned out in force at Sainsburys in Springfield to raise money for Comic Relief.
Wearing their Red Nose Day outfits, the singers from Essex and Suffolk’s largest modern choir blew the lunchtime shoppers away with their powerhouse performance.
The group chose to sing their own versions of popular songs by well-known artists, such as Stevie Wonder, Jess Glynne, Michael Jackson and many more.
The choir also performed their chosen track for Comic Relief - Bang Bang by Jessie J,.
The Chelmsford group meets at Moulsham High School, Brian Close, Chelmsford.
