POLICE have arrested a third person in connection with a disturbance outside the Sugar Hut nightclub in High Street, Brentwood, on Sunday, April 2.
A 21-year-old man, from Brent Park, Brent, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder on Monday, April 10, and has been released on conditional bail until Wednesday, May 3, pending further enquiries.
The arrest is in relation to an incident in which three people were struck by blue Audi following a fight involving more than 20 people at around 3.10am. One of the victims remains in a critical condition in hospital.
A 32-year-old man from West Drayton, Hillingdon, arrested on suspicion of attempted murder has been released on conditional bail until April 28, pending further enquiries.
A 26-year-old woman, from Hornchurch, arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has been released on conditional bail until May 3, pending further enquiries.
