Elderly man taken to hospital with serious leg injury after crash between car and bus
AN elderly man has been taken to hospital following a crash between a car and a bus on Chelmsford Road in Shenfield
Paramedics received a call at 1.45pm to reports of the collision and sent a rapid response vehicle, an ambulance crew, ambulance officer, and the air ambulance from the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance Trust (EHAA).
Medics were on scene within six minutes of the call and assessed the man for a serious leg injury.
Following treatment at the scene he was taken to Broomfield Hospital via land ambulance for further care.
He is believed to be in a stable condition
