POLICE are investigating an aggravated burglary at a Chelmsford home where a teenager suffered stab wounds.

Two people attended a property in Sawkins Avenue at around 5.35pm on Friday, May 12 and forced their way inside.

There was then an altercation with two people where a 16 year-old boy, suffered stab wounds to his chest.

He was flown to hospital where his condition is not believed to be life-threatening.

He has subsequently been arrested on suspicion of GBH but remains in hospital.

Another man has also been arrested on suspicion of GBH and has been taken to Chelmsford police station where he remains in custody.

A third man was arrested on suspicion of GBH has been released under investigation.
