A CHELMSFORD entrepreneur has won an international competition for her work as an inspirational businesswoman.

Rebekah Prince, 39, won the Global Woman magazine’s Leading Entrepreneur award after she featured in the publication.

Global Woman magazine is a source of inspiration and advice for international business women and entrepreneurs.

Rebekah who started from humble roots, owns her own company, Prince’s Consultancy Services Ltd, which she established in 2003.

She is a quality assurance and health and safety specialist, focusing on helping people pass their audits with a huge success rate.

She works with large motor groups, such as Alan Day, Peter Cooper, Motorline, Lookers, Mon Motors and Inchcape, assisting them with their brand standards and health and safety.

She said that she was at networking event and a mutual friend suggested that she should feature in the magazine with her story.

The award ceremony took place at the Le Meridian Hotel, London.

Rebekah added: “I am so thrilled to have my hard work recognised with this award.

“No matter how many people tell you, you can’t do it, I am testament that you can do anything you put your mind too.

“New clients tell me that I and they cannot succeed at their audits – and I love seeing their smiles when I produce a successful audit.

“Being a successful female in a male-dominated field has encouraged me to inspire young women to be ambitious and to urge them they can be the best at whatever they chose to do.”

She began from humble beginnings as a service advisor in the motor trade and then progressed to become a sales executive and worked her way into management.

Rebekah has a mantra that is “failure is not an option”. She puts her success down to always treating her client’s business as if it were own.

Ms Prince said she puts her success down to being hungry and having a passion that makes her constantly strive to be better and to consistently deliver great value to her clients.
