A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after two people were stabbed earlier this morning.
Police were called to reports of a stabbing at 7.40am this morning.
A man and woman were taken to hospital with stab injuries after being involved in an argument with a man this morning, in Rookes Crescent, Chelmsford.
Their injuries are believed to be serious but not life-threatening.
The man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in police custody.
Police are treating this as an isolated incident and a targeted attack. They believe there is no threat to the wider public.
