THREE more people arrested during the summer anti-drink and drug driving campaign have been convicted.

107 people were arrested during the campaign, which ran from June 1 until June 30.

Essex Police is publishing names and photos of people convicted to act as a deterrent to others considering drink or drug driving.

Adam Pipe, Casualty Reduction Manager, said: “Drink and drug driving ruins lives and those who do it risk their safety and that of other road users.

“Our work to stop and catch people who drink and drug drive doesn’t stop.

Paul Hiscott, 56, of Bassett Gardens, North Weald, was arrested in High Road, North Weald at 12.35am on June 12; he was disqualified for 22 months, given a community order, ordered to do 140 hours of unpaid work, undertake a rehabilitation programme, and pay £85 costs and £85 victim surcharge for failing to provide a specimen.

Jonathan Kearns, 26, of Anderson Avenue, Chelmsford, arrested in Moulsham Street, Chelmsford at 11.55pm on June 24; disqualified for 12 months, fined £266, and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge.

Alice Elle Atangane, 41, of Ulverston Crescent, Broughton, Milton Keynes was disqualified for 12 months, fined £300, and ordered to pay £85 costs and £85 victim surcharge for drink driving.
