Five more people have been convicted of drink driving following Essex Police's summer crackdown against those who drink and get behind the wheel.

The force arrested 107 people between June 1 and June 30 as part of it's operation targeting people who drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Essex Police has released the details and images of those convicted persons to act as a deterrent to others who may consider doing it.

Adam Pipe, Casualty Reduction Manager, said: "Drink driving can ruin lives and destroy families.

"Anyone who does it risks their safety and that of other people.

"The summer campaign may have finished at the end of June but our work to catch drink and drug drivers and bring them to justice continues.

"If you have information about a drink or drug driver call us on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
